Al Dhow Engineering Division has acquired specialized personnel experienced in civil works for residential buildings, health centers, showroom buildings, and private villas. Civil works cover excavation, concrete repair and concrete works, façade treatment and cladding, landscape and hardscape works, and water fountains.
Interior & Architectural Finishes Al Dhow Engineering expertise in similar types of works, evolved from the traditional procurement route speed of execution to fast track execution in major retail projects; this was achieved through intense co-ordination with other trades, proactive design proposals, fast commercial decision making, efficient procurement/purchasing and optimized planning.
Al Dhow Engineering major related achievements are The Avenues Phase II, Food Court at the Avenues, Mabanee Headquarters; these were achieved in 8 months, 6 months and 5 months respectively, which score amongst the fastest fit out durations for major and luxurious projects.
In interior and architectural finishes contracts, the client appoints Al Dhow Engineering as Package Contractor or Nominated Subcontractor to the Main Contractor.
Furnishing, Fixtures & Equipment
In these types of contracts, Al Dhow Engineering Division acts as the FF&E contractor either on a lump sum or cost plus fee basis; with its diverse database of furniture and equipment suppliers world-wide and its purchasing power, Al Dhow Engineering provides a wide variety of products designed to meet its clients’ needs and budgets.
Design & Build
This approach best suits clients who wish to achieve a high quality result but are not able to allocate the time to be a full member of the project team design and concepts. In Design & Build contracts Al Dhow Engineering takes control of the project development starting from the early design and conceptualization stages, optimizing and implementing the client’s requirements, evolving to supply, procurement and construction, until satisfactory completion and commissioning of the project. Having one single source for design and construction activities, Al Dhow Engineering would be able to achieve value engineering, benefits of which are shared with the Client within a pre-agreed scheme. Under this approach, Al Dhow is currently designing and building Hills 36 Project, in Tilal Faqra, Lebanon; the project has a unique minimalist design, filled with artistic challenging details, deemed to be inaugurated by mid of year 2011.
